Steve’s Story: A Lifetime Outdoors

I started my career at just 13 years old, working outside, learning the value of honest work, and developing a deep respect for the environment. What began as a teenager’s job quickly became a lifelong calling and the foundation of Florida Environmental Landscape & Design.

More than 50 years later, I’m still doing what I love every day—designing, building, and maintaining outdoor spaces that are as practical as they are beautiful. My love of the outdoors is what keeps me going. From early mornings on job sites to late-night planning, I treat every project as if it were my own property and every client as a neighbor.

For over five decades, I’ve proudly served communities across the Florida Panhandle. I understand the challenges local property owners face—from harsh sun and heavy rain to sandy soils and coastal winds—and I design every project with those realities in mind.
